Gidget's career debut was winning BEST PUPPY at the 1999 Golden Retriever National, having beat out over 400 puppies for that title! (She beat over 70 puppy girls in the 6-9 month old class, in order to be able to compete for the Best Puppy). Gidget achieved her CH status at the age of 11 months old, becoming our youngest CH ever, and holds that title still today. Her greatest claim to fame is that she is the dam of PRESLEY, our most noteworthy and titled dog to date. She obtained her Oustanding Dam (OD) status with the following progeny; Ch. Snowshoe's Escape to Big Sky Gidget left this world on October 9, 2009, within hours of her greatgrandbabies being born to granddaughter Flirt. She will be missed by her family of the past few years, the Rosens, as well as all those who watched her career, her kids and her sweet temperment.
